Robin Denise Snow
Robin Denise Snow
While surrounded by her loving family, Robin Denise Snow, peacefully went to be with the LORD on Thursday, May, 21, 2026, after her long and courageous battle with cancer.
Robin was born January, 22, 1957, to Maxine LeBlo and Kenneth Whitson, in Madera, CA. She was raised by Maxine and James White, whose guidance and love, shaped her into the compassionate and devoted woman she became.
Robin’s greatest joy in life was her family. She is survived by her husband of 38 years, Curtis Snow; her daughter, Rachele Keeton and husband David; daughter Ashley Snow and Sam; son, Cameron Snow and Jenna; grandchildren, Klayton, Abbi, and Miley Keeton, Hadleigh and Payton Twidwell, Paislee and Reece Snow, great-grandson Keeton Twidwell; sister Cherryl Laird; brother, Kim White; and many more extended family members and friends who will miss her dearly.
Robin enjoyed the simple pleasures in life. She grew up in California and developed a love for the ocean that never faded. However, in her last few years she often talked about her trips to Vermont to see the snow and the mountains while visiting her daughter there.
In addition, Robin truly enjoyed cooking, crafting, watching Hallmark Mystery Movies, listening to music and audiobooks, and spending time with her family. She was known in Collinsville, where she was a longtime resident, for her time spent cooking and serving at the cafe on Main Street, of which, she even owned for a stent of time.
Her family recalls her specialties being her meatloaf, green bean casserole, chocolate cobbler, and homemade pies.
After retiring from the restaurant life, Robin was able to spend more time on her crafts and crocheting. She always made sure any new baby was welcomed to the family or friend group with a handcrafted blanket and a stuffy or two. Robin loved getting her nails done, and she never left the house without lipstick on and her hair done.
Out of all of these, she might be remembered most for the love, dedication, and support she unwaveringly showed her children, grandchildren, and their friends by attending their school and sporting events throughout the years.
She never missed a game and could be found on the fence-line or in the stands without fail, even if it meant driving across Texas to get from one game to the other later that evening when Ashley and Cameron were competing the same day.
After they graduated, she moved closer to her grandchildren so she could attend as many of their events as possible. She was a sports mom through and through and even made a yearly trip to VT to watch Ashley coach without fail.
Lastly, she enjoyed spending time with Curtis and could often be found by his side at their farm stand selling her crafts and canned goods.
Throughout her battle with cancer, Robin continued to demonstrate how remarkable of a person she was.
She wanted her family and friends to know she was not scared because God had plans for her and they shouldn’t be afraid either. She fought with strength, courage, and grace until her last breath.
Even in her most difficult moments, her love for her family never wavered and she made sure they knew they were cared for. She leaves behind a legacy of resilience, compassion, and unconditional love that will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. While her family mourns her passing, they find comfort in knowing she is at peace. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her love will guide those who carry on her legacy.
Her family would like to express their deepest appreciation to the amazing caregivers and staff of Home Hospice of Grayson County.
Their kindness, compassion, and unwavering support, meant more than words can express. Because of them, Robin was able to remain comfortable at home surrounded by those she loved the most and her dog Trixie. Thank you for walking alongside the family in the final days of her journey and for treating Robin with such dignity, respect, and love.
Services were held on Wednesday, May, 27, 2026 at First Baptist Church of Collinsville at 10:00 am, she was laid to rest Collinsville Cemetery.
