Harold Lynn Brown, 64, of Austin, Texas, passed away Monday, April 20, 2026, at home.

Lynn was born September 1, 1961, in Sherman, Texas, the son of Jerry and Martha (West) Brown.

In Austin, Lynn began, owned, and operated Copper Rock Nursery for nearly 20 years.

Lynn is survived by his wife of 43 years, Jan Harris Brown; daughter, Amanda Winstead (Tyler) of Austin; son, Cody Brown of Austin; and his three grandsons Royal, Francis, and Clive Winstead. 

He is also survived by his mother, Martha Welch (Stanley), two brothers, Jay Brown (Susan) of Whitesboro, Ben Brown (Lisa) of Oklahoma City, and sister, Mollie Brown of Austin. Lynn was preceded in death by his father Jerry Brown and sister Kay Brown. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Austin.
