Donald Wayne Aiken, 80, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2026, surrounded by his daughters.

For Don, life was the greatest adventure of all. He lived life with a passport in hand, and his adventurous spirit carried him to 80 countries across the globe. He embraced each destination with curiosity and gratitude and enjoyed sharing those experiences with others.

Don will be remembered for his warm smile, sense of adventure, sharp wit, the pride he took in his family, and the ability to captivate others with stories from his travels.

He is survived by his daughters, Jenny Reeves and Shelley Beam; his sisters, Charlene Mason and Dorothy Aiken; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

A memorial service to celebrate Don’s life will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Friday, February 27, 2026, at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro.
