Judy Kay Woolsey, 80 of Whitesboro, Texas, went to be with her Lord and Savior on January 2, 2026. 

Judy was born on June 18, 1945, in Gainesville, Texas, to her loving parents, Harding and Rene Cannon. She and her twin brother, Eddie, were the middle children, with Jerry being the eldest and Betty the youngest.        

Judy met her true love, David Woolsey, early in life and married on February 23, 1963. She graduated from Collinsville High School in 64 and was a homemaker for much of her life. 

She was the loving mother of 3 children, Sheila, Dewayne, and Matthew. Judy, who was also known as Grammy Lou, had several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.       

Judy and her husband, David, were married for 61 years and shared many great adventures, working as a truck-driving team traveling across the country.       

Judy is preceded in death by her husband, David; her father, Harding Cannon; her mother, Rene Cannon; and her brother, Eddie Cannon. A memorial service will be held at the First Baptist Church of Whitesboro on Saturday, January 10, 2026, at 11:00. First Baptist Church is located at 124 Center Street, Whitesboro, Texas 76273.
