A celebration of life will be held in honor of Dan (Billy Daniel) Ford on Saturday, Nov. 22, 2025 from 5-7 p.m. at One Church,  400 US Hwy 377 Whitesboro, TX 76273.

Dan (Billy Daniel) Ford, age 70, of Collinsville, Texas, passed away on Oct.29, 2025. 

He was born on Aug. 25, 1955 in Denton, Texas to the late Billy Tillman Ford and Bettie Jean Zerwer.

Known to family and friends simply as “Dan,” he enjoyed life’s simple pleasures, particularly watching his grandchildren play sports and was their biggest supporter from the sidelines. 

He loved golf, baseball and sharing good meals with family and friends, always finding joy in the moments spent together. 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Billy Tillman Ford and Bettie Jean Zerwer.

Dan is survived by his daughter, Valerie Whitehead, and her husband Corey Whitehead, and their daughter, Ellison Whitehead; his sons, Christopher Ford and his daughter, Kace Ford; Kelly Ford and his son, Eli Ford; and Tyler Ford and his wife, Miranda Ford, and their three sons, Waylon, Canyon, and Stetson. He is also survived by his sisters, Helen and her husband, David Goin, and Cindy Ford. 

His memory will be cherished by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate to know him. 

In lieu of flowers, we ask to help keep Dan’s legacy alive by donating to the Dan Ford Scholarship fund. Donations can be donated directly to The Collinsville Education Foundation in Dan’s honor.
