Geraldine Walker, 95, of Whitesboro, Texas was called to her heavenly home on Sunday, September 14, 2025.

Geraldine was born on September 12, 1930 in Whitesboro, Texas to Walter and Lorena (McMenamy) West. She was a graduate of Whitesboro High School and a long-time member of the Sadler Methodist Church. She married Charles Lindy Walker in Dallas, Texas on April 28, 1949 and they were married 66 years prior to his passing in 2016.  She worked for many years with Sterling Jewelers in Dallas and this fueled her love for making jewelry and doing beading work. 

Geraldine was a member of the Red Hat Society, she enjoyed music, singing and making Christmas candy.  She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother.

She is survived by her son, Michael Lee Walker and wife, Rosalie; daughter, Sherry Lynne Walker, daughter, Paula Kay Walker, and husband, Steven, son, William Matthew Walker, grandchildren, Nicole Winston, Jessica Johnson, Allison Maciula, Daniel Lee Walker, and Jacob Lindy Walker, great-grandchildren, Avery Winston, Gracyn Winston, Walker Winston, Emersyn Yadon, Connor Yadon, August Maciula, Arya Rose Walker, Parker Maciula, Charlotte Maciula, Kate Johnson, Ben Johnson, Aiden Walker, and Luna Walker.

Geraldine was preceded in death by her parents, Walter and Lorena West, husband, Lindy Walker, sister, Marie Johnson, brother, Tom Billy West, and brother, Carter West.

Funeral services honoring Geraldine will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, September 19, 2025 at Meador Funeral Home of Whitesboro, officiated by Rev. Doyle Henderson.  Interment will follow at Sadler Cemetery.  A time of visitation for family and friends will be held on Thursday, September 18, 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the funeral home.
