Ruth Wynell Bryan, 85, of Whitesboro, Texas was called home to her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday April 1, 2025.

Ruth was born on Oct. 14, 1939 in Mena, Arkansas to Elbert Harlin and Josie (Newsom) Hough Sr. Ruth worked at Whitesboro Schools as a teacher’s aide and after retiring from there she worked at Walmart until her full retirement.
Ruth enjoyed working with kids and after her retirement she volunteered at Collinsville Elementary to help with her Great Grandson’s class.

She is survived by her two children Wynell Ramsey and husband Redgy of Whitesboro; Cary Bryan and wife Sharon of Whitesboro; grandchildren, Bryan Newman and wife Tina, Karen Heftley and husband Aaron, Traci Reynolds and husband Ryan, Ashley Morris and husband Jeff, Amber Hesteande and husband Ryan, Ashlee Mathis and husband Chris, Bethany Watson and husband Chad, and Carlin Jaster and husband Josh; 14 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.

Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, Elbert Harlin and Josie Hough, Sr., brother Elbert Harlin (Mickey) Hough Jr., sister Madelle Sweeney and brother Billy Mack Hough.

The family would like to offer their sincerest gratitude and love to Hospice Plus and her team of Shanna Fortune, Cecilia Powers, Jennifer and Brooke.
