Four Grayson County football teams have secured playoff berths, including three that punched their tickets last week.

Howe, which lost to Bells, 35-6, last Friday, secured its postseason spot the previous week with a 20-13 victory over Valley View. Bells clinched its playoff berth Friday with the win over Howe.

Gunter and Van Alstyne also secured postseason spots. The Tigers defeated Whitesboro, 34-10, while the Panthers routed Ponder, 56-14.

BELLS (5-3, 4-0) AT LEONARD (3-5, 3-1)
The Panthers will look for their fifth consecutive victory and a share of the District 7-3A Division II championship when they visit Leonard at 7 p.m. Friday.

Bells defeated Howe, 35-6, while Leonard fell to Valley View, 44-27, last week.

For the sixth time this season, the Panthers gained all their offensive yards on the ground, rushing for 347 yards.

Asa Curtis led the way with 146 yards and a touchdown on 11 carries. Jaxon Brown added 73 yards and two touchdowns on 13 carries, while Westin Hicks rushed 10 times for 47 yards and a touchdown. Jax Pitt contributed 33 yards and a touchdown on three carries.

HOWE (6-3, 4-1), BYE
The Bulldogs have a bye this week following a 35-6 loss at Bells.

Howe has already clinched a playoff berth and will close out the regular season at home against Leonard on Nov. 6.

Rylan Strong led the Bulldogs with three receptions for 44 yards and a touchdown while adding 30 rushing yards on six carries.

Quarterback Deacon Bender passed for 92 yards and a touchdown while rushing nine times for 44 yards.

Riken Cross added 25 yards on five carries, while Kaiden Thomas hauled in a 47-yard reception.

BLUE RIDGE (0-9, 0-5) AT S&S (1-7, 0-4)
After forfeiting their only two wins of the season because of the use of multiple ineligible players, the Blue Ridge Tigers will close out the regular season against S&S at 7 p.m. Friday in Sadler.

Blue Ridge lost to Callisburg, 44-38, last week in a game that had already been designated a forfeit.

S&S enters the matchup following a bye week.
