Whitesboro - MJ LeVoir, LLC Sand and Gravel has been going the extra mile for decades. Based in Whitesboro, Texas, this family-run business provides dirt and gravel for their community.
Mike LeVoir found his passion for the dirt business while growing up in a family who worked in construction. While working on construction sites for his dad, LeVoir was struck with inspiration to start his own business. He realized he was good at doing dirt work and enjoyed that aspect of the construction business.
He started MJ LeVoir, LLC Sand and Gravel, providing dirt, gravel and sand work, as well as culvert installations in driveways to help manage waterflow. With about half of their work being driveways, they also make gravel roads for ranches and prepare construction sites and house pads.
At MJ LeVoir, LLC Sand and Gravel, they say “no job is too big or too small.” Their services can provide customers with anything from a small driveway to a mile-long road. LeVoir says most of the work done is local with repeat customers over the years. It is typical for a customer to touch up their driveway every 10 years or call when an abrupt heavy rain washes their driveway out.
Consistent business with several great builders has been exciting for the future growth of the business. LeVoir is looking forward to seeing more growth and continuing to make sure every job is perfect for customers.
To LeVoir, the heart behind his business is his family. He works in the field with equipment while his stepson drives the dump truck and his wife works in the office. With his family playing their own roles in the business, Levoir said they are what keeps it going through tough times.
