S&S 3, Howe 1
Ryleigh Carr had 15 kills, 15 digs and three aces as S&S defeated Howe, 25-19, 25-14, 14-25, 25-23, in District 10-3A action.
Brady Clark finished with 12 kills and eight digs, while Bella Bennett totaled 12 kills, 23 digs and four aces. Rylee Garrison handed out 38 assists to go with 12 digs and three aces, Hannah Foster collected 19 digs, Lola Morrow put down seven kills and Addy Russell added nine digs and three aces.
S&S (20-7, 2-1) played at Pottsboro on Tuesday night, while Howe (23-8, 3-1) hosted Blue Ridge.
Tioga 3, Gainesville 0
In Tioga, Kyndall Whitley had 14 kills and 18 digs as the Lady Bulldogs closed non-district play with a 25-14, 25-17, 25-16 victory over Gainesville.
Lindsay David added seven kills, Kennedy Slay had six kills, Ella Norwood handed out 17 assists and Sadie Bates totaled 12 assists, 11 digs, five kills and four aces. Maddy Schon collected 11 digs.
Tioga (26-8) opened District 10-2A play by hosting Sam Rayburn on Tuesday night.
Tom Bean 3, Miller Grove 0
In Miller Grove, the Lady Tomcats closed non-district play with a 25-22, 25-18, 25-23 sweep of Miller Grove.
Tom Bean (12-15) opened District 10-2A play against Collinsville on Tuesday night.
Saint Jo 3, Whitewright 0
In Saint Jo, the Lady Tigers closed non-district play with an 18-25, 18-25, 23-25 loss against Saint Jo.
Whitewright (22-9) traveled to Lindsay on Tuesday night to open District 10-2A play.

Leonard 3, S&S 0
In Leonard, Brady Clark had eight kills during S&S’ 20-25, 17-25, 9-25 loss in District 10-3A action.
Ryleigh Carr added five kills and Lola Morrow totaled four blocks for the Lady Rams (19-7, 1-1).
Whitesboro 3, Lindsay 1
In Whitesboro, the Lady Bearcats earned a 25-15, 17-25, 25-13, 25-17 non-district victory over Lindsay.
Whitesboro improved to 26-6 and traveled to Alvord on Friday.
Lindsay (22-6) opened District 10-2A play by hosting Whitewright on Tuesday.
Collinsville 3, Dodd City 0
In Collinsville, the Lady Pirates closed non-district play with a 27-25, 25-19, 26-24 sweep of Dodd City.
Collinsville (17-11) opened District 10-2A play by hosting Tom Bean on Tuesday.
Bonham 3, Tioga 2
In Bonham, Kyndall Whitley had 18 kills and 24 digs during Tioga’s 24-26, 16-25, 25-21, 25-17, 13-15 non-district loss against Bonham.
Kennedy Slay finished with 16 kills and nine digs, Lindsay David added eight kills and seven digs and Sadie Bates totaled 23 assists, 20 digs and three aces. Ella Norwood handed out 14 assists to go with 18 digs, Maddy Schon collected 14 digs and Bella Dennis added eight digs.
Tioga dropped to 25-8 before hosting Gainesville on Friday.
Paris 3, Whitewright 0
In Paris, the Lady Tigers suffered a 14-25, 10-25, 18-25 non-district loss against Paris.
Whitewright dropped to 22-8 before closing non-district play on Friday.
Callisburg 3, Tom Bean 0
In Tom Bean, the Lady Tomcats fell to Callisburg, 15-25, 20-25, 16-25, in non-district action.
Tom Bean dropped to 11-15 before closing non-district play at Miller Grove on Friday.
Pottsboro 3, Bells 0
Coming off a five-set loss against first-place Howe, Pottsboro bounced back with a 25-14, 25-22, 25-15 victory over Bells in District 10-3A action.
Mary-Kate Douglas, Berkley Witherspoon, Gracie Jester, Landrie Billy, McKenzie Culp and Lexi Wagner led the way for Pottsboro (8-11, 1-1), which played at Gunter on Friday.
Cambrie Caldwell, Khloe Thompson, Madison Steward and Farrah Sartain paced Bells, which dropped to 0-3 in district play before traveling to Lindsay for a non-district match Friday.
Monday, Sept. 21
WWMS sweeps Sam Rayburn
The Whitewright Middle School Lady Tigers won all three matches against Sam Rayburn in district action, highlighted by dominant performances from both seventh-grade teams.
The 7B Lady Tigers opened the night with a 25-2, 25-8 victory. Lily Hughes served 21 consecutive points to open the first set and finished with 15 aces and three assists. Bailey Graham added six aces, Ayin Parker had three aces and two kills, and Iva Lorentzsen contributed an ace and a kill. Alyssa Wegley added an ace and Tommill Halliburton had a kill.
The victory improved the 7B team to 4-1 overall and 1-1 in district play.
Whitewright’s 7A team remained unbeaten with a 25-8, 25-9 victory. Selleck Bearss led the way with 14 aces, five assists and two kills, while Addie Pinder had four kills and a block. Grace Fogle totaled three assists and a kill, Erica Horn had three aces and a kill, Tatum Smith added two assists and a kill, Reese Claborn finished with two kills and an ace and Tatum Davis added a kill.
The 7A Lady Tigers improved to 9-0 overall and 2-0 in district play.
The eighth-grade match was the closest of the night, with Whitewright earning a 25-14, 23-25, 15-7 victory.
Charlotte Gudgel handed out 13 assists and served three aces, while Riley Smith had six kills and three aces. Kynlee Mealer added five aces and an assist, Kenadee Ball had four kills and an ace, and AJ Shoemaker served two aces. Joy Guiette and Presley Bowen had two kills apiece, while Lyla Saenz added two kills and an ace.
The 8A Lady Tigers improved to 8-1 overall and 2-0 in district play. Whitewright travels to Tioga on Monday, Sept. 28.
