To Mr. Lewter and Staff:
We have subscribed to the (Whitesboro) News Record for over 30 years. During this time, we also took another Grayson County newspaper until it went only digital. Now, we eagerly await your publication each week. The information is thorough and timely. And of particular interest are articles by Suzanne Bellsnyder. Ms. Bellsnyder speaks for rural Texans very well.  She presents her information with facts and aplomb. While it may not be her desire, she would be an excellent spokesperson in the Texas Legislature for those of us who love living in rural Grayson County.

Another eagerly awaited article is the State Capital Highlights. This is one of the most comprehensive venues for learning what is happening in our capital, Austin, Texas. Not in any other publication viewed to date has this information been as thoroughly covered.

Lastly, the opinion articles by Marilyn Stokes are always enjoyable.  Her light hearted rhetoric about life is most pleasurable.

Thank you to all who make our local newspaper worthwhile.  The only thing to add would be a twice weekly publication!

Dear Editor,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank the awesome citizens of Whitesboro who provide Whitesboro with a landscape which is becoming obsolete for many small towns!

Billy Wolf and his beautiful barn and beef cattle and the sheep farm across the road! Thank you. Also the Smith farm, and beautiful grain field across the road from Legend Bank, Schares Family Farm and so many more landscape providers. I thank you and I appreciate you.

Marti Gregg (Schmitz)
