The Pottsboro Library is partnering with the Denison Genealogical Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution Preston Trail Chapter to host a Lineage Research Workshop for the public at Frontier Village & Museum (111 RC Vaughan Rd. in Denison).
Mark your calendars for Sunday, Aug. 30 from 2-4 p.m. to get your genealogy journey started or receive help in finding your Patriot ancestor. Feel free to bring a friend or family member who is interested. There will be paperwork and laptops available, along with genealogist volunteers to assist you in finding your family history.
Please bring a copy of your birth certificate, a copy of your parents’ birth certificates, a copy of grandparents’ death certificate or birth certificate, any research or lineage you have done so far and a laptop (if you have one). For more information, contact Amanda Bauman Ewton at 903-820-8991.
