A Grayson County grand jury returned dozens of felony indictments during its July 15 session, including charges involving child sexual assault, aggravated robbery, drug offenses, burglary, assault, theft and driving while intoxicated.
Among the most serious cases, Hunter Blake Rose, 19, of Whitesboro, was indicted in two separate cases involving multiple alleged child sexual abuse offenses. One indictment charges Rose with continuous sexual abuse of a child under 14, six counts of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. A second indictment charges one count of aggravated sexual assault of a child and two counts of indecency with a child by sexual contact. The alleged offenses occurred between July 2024 and March 2026.
Other indictments included charges of aggravated robbery, arson, aggravated assault, drug possession and delivery, burglary, forgery, tampering with evidence, animal cruelty and repeat DWI offenses.
An indictment is a formal accusation by a grand jury and is not evidence of guilt. All defendants are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in a court of law.
