As employers across North Texas continue to navigate workforce shortages and changing industry demands, the Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce (GACC) invites business and education leaders to join them Wednesday, Aug. 19, for a program on what the future of workforce development looks like with keynote speaker Dr. Brent Wallace, chancellor of North Central Texas College.
The program will explore how North Central Texas College is preparing students for careers in high-demand industries while partnering with employers to meet evolving workforce needs.
Knowledge NOW Luncheons are open to the community and held at the Gainesville Civic Center located at 311 S. Weaver Street. Doors will open at 11:30 a.m. for networking and lunch, with the formal program beginning promptly at noon. Tickets are $25 for Chamber members and $35 for non-members.
