The Tioga High School Varsity cheer squad attended a Universal Cheerleaders Association (UCA) summer camp this week where they earned several accolades. The team received:
- most game day ready for mascot
- 1st place in small division
- 1st place in small Varsity
- 1st place in sideline crowd leading
This was a clean sweep of all of the camp’s main awards. Throughout the week the squad also received:
- gold in sideline
- superior blue in dance
- the banana for most spirited on night #3
- not one, but two spirit sticks for mascot
- not one, but two spirit sticks for the squad
Additionally, four cheerleaders earned the title of All-American:
- Bella Dennis, senior
- Gavyn Redfearn, senior
- Lizzie Cobb, junior
- Skilar Hodge, junior
Cobb was also recognized by UCA staff for her leadership in the squad.
