Dear Editor,
I’m a Whitewright Sun subscriber. I’m so glad you are doing this! I’m old and old school. It broke my heart when the Sherman Democrat quit mailing the paper and went online. I like to feel the paper in my hand. I hope you will stay in print. And I love the crossword. Yours is a little harder than Sherman’s, but I’ll get used to it. Wouldn’t mind if you brought back the cryptogram. Sherman dropped it when it went to this new format (newsletter, I call it). Anyway, I’m glad to see you start this, I wish you luck!

Dear Editor,
I want to give a special shoutout to Officer Jonathan Willis with the Whitesboro Police Department. Over the past two weeks, during a very difficult and traumatic experience my family faced, Officer Willis has gone above and beyond. He has followed up with us multiple times, kept us informed throughout the process, and even stopped by our home yesterday just to check on us. His kindness, professionalism, and genuine concern have brought us a great deal of peace during a stressful time. It is clear that he doesn’t just wear the badge, he truly cares about the people he serves and takes his responsibility to protect our community seriously. Thank you for your dedication, your compassion, and for reminding us that there are people who genuinely care. Our community is fortunate to have you, and my family is incredibly grateful for everything you’ve done.
