Keep Collinsville Beautiful (KCB) members are working on plans for KCB’s Annual Meeting/Ice Cream Social scheduled for Thursday, July 9 at 6:30 p.m. in the Collinsville Community Center. This meeting is open to everyone in the community for the purpose of spreading the word about the work of KCB.
There will be a brief business meeting to take care of some KCB matters followed by a presentation highlighting the accomplishments of the organization in the last year. President Betty Graham will then present some of the plans for future projects for the city and will entertain ideas and suggestions from the audience for other efforts.
The highlight of the evening will be a variety of freezers of homemade ice cream along with some other very special treats. For anyone who has been curious about the efforts of KCB or is looking for a way to contribute to the community, this is a perfect opportunity to get acquainted, learn what the organization is about and find a niche where you can participate.
