S&S CISD recognized outstanding academic achievement during the district’s annual Honors Banquet held Wednesday, May 13 at S&S High School. Administrators, staff, students and families gathered to celebrate students who maintained all A’s throughout the school year.
Superintendent Dr. Jeff Russell welcomed guests and congratulated students for their dedication and commitment to academic excellence. The evening honored elementary, middle and high school students who demonstrated consistent hard work and achievement in the classroom.
Elementary students were recognized by S&S Elementary Principal Mark Pelzel and Assistant Principal Kristy Colvin. Students receiving awards were honored for maintaining all A’s throughout the entire school year.
Middle school honorees were recognized by S&S Middle School Principal Karen Lombard and Assistant Superintendent Dr. Kim Calvary. Students were celebrated for their academic success and commitment to excellence during the school year.
At the high school level, Principal Rendee Garrison and Counselor Melissa Baggs presented awards to students who earned all A’s throughout the school year. High school students were recognized for their dedication, perseverance and outstanding academic performance.
Guests attending the banquet were served a meal prepared by the S&S CISD cafeteria staff, whose efforts helped make the evening a special celebration for students, families and staff members.
The Honors Banquet served as a celebration of the hard work and determination demonstrated by S&S CISD students across all grade levels. District administrators praised students and families for the effort and support that contributed to their academic success throughout the year.
