The Gainesville Area Chamber of Commerce (GACC) is turning up the volume for 2026, officially announcing a powerhouse roster of talent for the upcoming Gainesville Summer Sounds Concert Series. This year’s lineup brings a blend of Texas country, yacht rock and southern soul to the Summer Sounds stage.

Kickstarting the summer on Friday, May 29, is The Wilder Blue, with their signature five-part harmonies and sharp storytelling. This acclaimed Texas quintet will be joined by singer-songwriter Cameron Hobbs.

On Friday, June 26, the series shifts gears into the smooth, breezy hits of the 70s and 80s with Champagne Yacht Club. Local favorite Blackout Betty will open the evening, ensuring a high-energy start to the night.

Closing out the 2026 season on Friday, July 31, the soulful, blues-inflected rock of Uncle Lucius will fill the air, featuring an opening set by emerging country-folk artist, Maddie Rose.

Mark your calendars for a concert series that celebrates both the roots of Texas music and the pure fun of a summer night out! Gather your friends and family, bring along your chairs or blankets and prepare for a night of high-caliber entertainment at the Gainesville Farmers Market located at 215 W Elm Street. Admission to the Gainesville Summer Sounds Concert Series is absolutely free!
