Collinsville Fire Department conducts training session with area departments

The Collinsville Fire Department (CFD) recently conducted a hands-on training focused on engine company operations and hose deployment techniques. This training reviewed and reinforced the fundamentals of pump operations and deploying preconnected hose lines.

Training topics included: basic pump operations, establishing a water supply, deploying and operating preconnected 1 ¾” attack lines, nozzle operations and fire flow considerations and coordinating engine company fireground operations.

Collinsville Fire Department would like to thank the Whitesboro, Tioga, Southmayd and Sadler Fire Departments for their participation in this invaluable training. It provided an excellent opportunity for area departments to come together, sharpen their skills, improve fireground efficiency and ensure crews are operating safely and effectively.

The CFD appreciate the dedication of all personnel who attended and continue to invest in their training and readiness.
