Due to weather conditions, the Whitesboro Parks and Recreation Department's (PARD) 18th Annual Father/Daughter Dance slated for Jan. 31 has been rescheduled to Friday, Feb. 6 at the same time (7 to 9 p.m.). The event, whose theme is "Beach Bash," will now be at the Jimmie O. Rector Community Center (400 Wilson Street in Whitesboro).
Girls of all ages are invited to attend with fathers, uncles, grandfathers, mentors and friends. Girls are encouraged to “Share a Dad” with a friend that does not have a date for the dance.
Admission fee at the door is $7 per person. Moms desiring to take photos will be welcome after 8:30 p.m. The event is presented in part by Happy Dave Blaylock.
