S&S High School Choir member Addyson Russell has qualified to perform with the 2026 Texas All-State Choir, the highest honor for a Texas music student.
She will perform on Saturday, Feb. 14, 2026, at the Henry B. González Convention Center in San Antonio during the Texas Music Educators Association (TMEA) Clinic/Convention.
Selected through a highly competitive, multi-level audition process on Jan. 10, Russell is among the top 3% of student musicians statewide.
This marks her second time earning All-State honors.
About 60,000 students enter the TMEA All-State competitive process. 1,830 students are selected to perform in various choirs and ensembles.
Russell studies with Sylvia Rivers and sings under the direction of Angela Russell.
Way to go, Addyson!
