Lady Cats lose to Ponder
The Whitesboro Lady Cat basketball team suffered a 52-29 home loss to Ponder on Friday in district play.
Reagan Downs led the effort with nine points and five rebounds.
Lauren Muntz had eight points and five rebounds.
Aubree Bruce had six points and nine rebounds.
The loss took Whitesboro to 9-14 on the year.
They played at Pilot Point Tuesday.

Lady Pirates top Lindsay
The Collinsville Lady Pirate basketball team bounced back Friday after dropping their district opener to Muenster, and picked up a 57-34 road win over Lindsay in district play.
Ashleigh Ortowski led the attack with 13 points.
Kendall Brandewie had 12 points.
Jaydee Matlock had 11 points.
Zoey Kays offered 10 points for Collinsville.
The win took Collinsville to 19-3 on the year.

Lady Bulldogs beaten by Muenster
The Tioga Lady Bulldog basketball team dropped a district game to Muenster last week with a 41-23 final.
Ella Norwood led the effort with 12 points and four rebounds.
Timber Johnson had 11 points.
Kyndal Whitley had five rebounds, four blocks and three steals.
The loss took Tioga to 5-16 on the year.
They traveled to Era on Tuesday.

Bearcats pick up tourney win
The Whitesboro Bearcat basketball team picked up a 67-36 win over Texoma Christian last week in the Leonard tournament.
Ian Bruce led the attack with 19 points.
Wyatt Winchester had 11 points.
Jett Pinkston offered 10 points.
Dylan Carnes had eight points.
The win took Whitesboro to 4-13 on the year.
They ended tournament play with a loss to Leonard and Lone Oak before opening district play Friday with a 65-42 home loss to Ponder.

The Collinsville Pirate basketball team opened district play Friday with a narrow 67-62 win over Lindsay on the road.
The Pirates were 9-6 on the year going into Tuesday’s road game at Slidell.

The S&S Lady Ram basketball team suffered a close loss on Dec. 23 with a 38-34 final at home against Blue Ridge in district play.
The loss took S&S to 1-15 on the year.
They picked back up after Christmas break hosting Pottsboro Tuesday, Jan. 6.

The S&S Ram basketball team opened district play Friday, Dec. 19 with an 81-32 loss against Leonard on the road.
The loss took S&S to 3-15 on the year.
