Last month, the Collinsville Independent School District (CISD) announced it is transitioning to a districtwide, two-way communication application called Final Site. The district is currently testing this feature with a small number of groups.

Beginning Jan. 2, 2026, Final Site will be the primary means of written communication between school district employees, parents and students. Employees will continue written communication with parents through email. Beginning on this date, CISD will no longer use the Remind or GroupMe applications.

Parents or guardians who need to have written communication with their child’s teacher, sponsor, or coach will need to communicate through Final Site or through the employee’s district email address. If a child/student must communicate with teachers about grades, missing assignments, make up assignments, practices, etc., this must be communicated in person, by e-mail or through the Final Site application.

Parents and guardians are asked to not contact school employees through any direct messaging social media application or text message. All school-related written communication with school personnel will be through Final Site or district email. To receive communication through Final Site from the district, people will need to download the Collinsville ISD Final Site application.

This can be found through the app store and identified as CvillePirates with the school crest. Once the app has been downloaded, use the email used for registration and click forgot password. Follow those instructions to login. If anyone has trouble logging in, please reach out to [email protected] and the Technology Department will be glad to offer assistance.
