The House of Brews in Whitesboro continues its local author book signing and sale series this Saturday, Dec. 13 from 10 a.m.-noon with featured author P.S. Smith.
Smith is a native Texan who thrives on writing about what she knows best – small-town Texas. An avid history buff and traveler, she loves to discover little niches of golden treasures her readers will enjoy.
Smith is a wife, mother, grandmother, sister, cousin, friend, narrator, tour guide, character actress and writer. Her literary accomplishments include a monthly column for a local newspaper, “Journey Through History.” She also co-wrote “The Great Movie Palaces of Gainesville, Texas” with the late western historian, Billy Holcomb.
In 2022, Smith published her first murder and suspense novel, “Deadly Silver.” It was followed by “Silver Undercover” in 2023 and “Silver 9-1-1” in 2024.
“Blackberry Canyon Murder” came out in 2025 and “The Woman in the Persimmon Hat” is now being published. All of Smith’s books are available for purchase on Amazon.com
