Last Saturday, the Whitesboro Classroom Teachers’ Association (WCTA) held its annual Santa’s Breakfast event at the Whitesboro Middle School cafeteria.

From 8-10 a.m., area families were invited to enjoy a breakfast of pancakes, sausage or bacon. Santa was on-site for photo opportunities, and every child in attendance received a door prize of a gifted toy.

Tickets were $5 for adults; $3 for children in pre-k through 5th grade; and free for children aged 3 and under. All proceeds from the event go toward scholarships for Whitesboro High School graduating seniors. To date, the WCTA has awarded over 400 scholarships.

This event, which has been taking place since the 1970s, is made possible in part through donations and contributions from businesses and members of the community.

Hundreds of attendees visit this event each year. Some wear their holiday best for their chance to meet the big man in red while others opt for their Christmas pajamas. Either way, attendees are sure to have a fun time making happy holiday memories with their families.
