This Friday, from 5-9 p.m., Krugerville will host its first-ever Christmas tree lighting event.
In addition to the lighting of the town Christmas tree, this huge, family-friendly community celebration will include a variety of activities like photos with Santa, holiday shopping with more than 50 local vendors, chili cookoff with two cash prizes, chili chugging competition, a petting zoo with local nonprofit Porter’s Corner, free pony rides, food trucks and more.
The following weekend on Sunday, Dec. 14 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., the town will close its 2025 season with a Holiday Market, the last of the year. The event will include Singing Santa throughout the market, a community snowball fight, holiday shopping with more than 50 local vendors and a variety of delicious food trucks.
Both of these community events are free to attend and offer a wonderful opportunity for families to enjoy local holiday fun while supporting small businesses in the area.
