For many families, the Grayson County Holiday Lights drive-through display in Denison has become a can’t-miss tradition.
This dazzling presentation near Loy Lake features more than 75 light displays consisting of thousands of light bulbs and takes workers about six weeks to set up prior to opening night.
Visitors will enjoy glowing tunnels, animated displays and some terrific festive photo opportunities.
This year’s season kicked off on Nov. 28 with an opening night celebration at Frontier Village Museum.
There, visitors enjoyed photos with Santa, festive face painting, live music and free cookies.
The lights will be on display nightly through Dec. 25, from 5:30-10 p.m., rain or shine.
The experience is free, but donations are welcome to help maintain the displays each year.
