The Collinsville High School (CHS) Student Council set up their Christmas tree on Nov. 19 and began accepting donations for the CHS food drive.
The organization is asking the community to donate any canned or boxed food items, as well as things like soap and shampoo.
Monetary donations are also accepted to enable the group to purchase items that are needed for the drive.
All donated items go directly to Collinsville students in need.
Donations can be brought to the CHS front office or can be made by contacting Mrs. Uselton.
