It’s hard to believe that there are only six Saturdays until Christmas. Christmas break is creeping up on the calendar, and the Whitesboro Parks and Recreation Department (PARD) has made plans for the holiday.
Parents, do you need a few hours before the holiday without the kids to do some Christmas shopping, decorating or baking?
The Whitesboro PARD will sponsor a Kids’ Christmas Workshop on Saturday, Dec. 6 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. This special event at the Jimmie O. Rector Community Center is for children ages 6-12 years. Children will make a gift and a decoration, there will be games, crafts and music, and lunch will be provided.
Seating is limited, so registration is required. The registration deadline is Wed., Dec. 3 (or until the event registration is at full capacity). The cost is $15 (includes all supplies and lunch).
