The Valley View Kiwanis is proud to announce their upcoming community event “Concert for the View,” to be held on Nov. 15 from 6-9:30 p.m. at the Valley View Square. This event will feature live performances by local favorites Blackout Betty and the Keith Owens Band.

Admission to “Concert for the View” is free for the public. The event’s primary goal is to unite the community for a night of music and celebration while raising crucial funds to build a new playground and support the club’s year-round projects. The Kiwanis Club will not be bringing in any outside vendors or selling products, making support of the existing local businesses essential for the success of the fundraiser. Participating merchants around the Square will donate a portion of their sales proceeds during the concert directly to the Kiwanis Club.

Ashley Collett, president of the Valley View Kiwanis, stated, “Our goal with this concert is twofold: to provide a fun, community-focused evening for locals and out of town visitors, and to raise essential funds to support our local projects, which includes our community playground build. This is a wonderful opportunity for everyone to come together, enjoy great music and contribute to a project that will benefit Valley View for years to come.”

Sponsorship opportunities are available for local businesses looking to support the cause and gain visibility within the community.
