Homecoming 2025 at Callisburg High School was a great celebration.
On Wed. evening, Sept 10, the Wildcats celebrated with a huge parade and community pep rally. Then the band brought great music and entertainment while the cheerleaders brought the spirit to the Friday night game against Collinsville. The Wildcats showed up to deliver an outstanding 41-27 win.
The Homecoming Court included Freshman Class Representative Chloe Grace Reed, daughter of Chris and Rhea Reed, Sophomore Class Representative Chloe Ray Hill, daughter of Trina and Richard Hill, and Junior Class Representative Nora Thomas, daughter of Nikki and Tony Thomas.
Queen Nominees included Emma Kae Buckaloo, daughter of Becca and Bryant Strickland. Her future plans are to attend Texas Tech University and pursue a career in dental hygiene. Her student escort was Bowen McAdams, son of Richard and Olga McAdams.
The next candidate, Jasmin Elisa Buentello was escorted by her father, Cory Teel, and Uncle Clay Epperson. Jasmin is a varsity cheerleader. She attends Valley Creek Church and plans to attend NCTC in the fall to finish her basics and then transfer to a university to become a dental hygienist.
Aliyah Nichole Lewis, daughter of Kaelyn Enriquez and Dayton Lewis was also a candidate and is a member of the Powerlifting team, NHS, Student Council and UIL. She plans to become a pediatric nurse. Her student escort was Hank McGovern, son of Julie and Matt McGovern.

Her student escort was Micheal Hammer, son of Bobbiesue and Aaron Hammer.
Laura Hernandez, the 2024 Homecoming Queen, attends college in New York and could not be present for the crowning of the queen, so the 2015 queen, Amberly Dickerson Sanborn, stepped in to crown Moore as the new Callisburg 2025 Homecoming Queen.
All in all, it was a fun and memorable 2025 homecoming for all of Callisburg.
