The North Union Church of Christ will host an evangelism seminar Sept. 21-24 at 209 N. Union Street in Whitesboro. Guest speaker Jonathan Orr will give a presentation entitled “Igniting Faith, Building Unity, Reaching Souls.” The schedule for the event is as follows:
Sunday, Sept. 21
9:30 a.m. - Bible Class (learn how to connect with people personally and discover their spiritual story)
10:30 a.m. - Worship Service/Sermon (“Evangelism and Church Unity”)
5 p.m. - HANGOR Session (a congregation-wide conversation about History, Advantages, Needs, Goals, Objective and Resolve)
Monday, Sept. 22
7 p.m. - Habanero Ministry (discover record-keeping system for evangelistic efforts; join follow-up teams to connect with others)
Tuesday, Sept. 23
7 p.m. - Foundations for Disciples (a study for new Christians to grow from spiritual “milk” to “solid food;” learn to teach and share this foundational study)
Wednesday, Sept. 24
7 p.m. - Takeoff Session (vote on congregational goals and sign up for Habanero teams; recap the week’s insights and plan next steps together)
