Collinsville United Methodist Church expands to better serve the community — Collinsville Methodist Church celebrated groundbreaking of their Family Outreach Center slated for completion in summer of 2026. Building Committee Chair Tom Ohm and his group shoveled up the first dirt on the site. Pastor Rodney Ward was presented with a golden shovel used by Ohm, which was signed by church members at a lunch after the event. The new building will have space for community events and additional education rooms. Building committee members include Tim Garbacik, Teresa Stopher, Rolf Stone and Jerry Davis.
