Despite the closure of hiking trails and major roads due to flooding, Hagerman National Wildlife Refuge will hold its next Refuge Rocks for Kids program on Saturday, June 21 from 10-11:30 a.m.
Entitled “Rock Stars: Sedimentary Rocks!”, this program includes a mini lesson, hands-on activities and rock crafts for kids. While this event is free and open to the public, registration is required. Grab your spot at www.friendsofhagerman.com today.
