The North Texas Medical Center (NTMC) Auxiliary recognized several volunteers for their service to the organization during its annual Officer Installation Luncheon on May 15.
Installed as officers for 2025-26 were President Larry Smith, President Elect Connie Wilcoxen, 2nd Vice President Linda Davis, 3rd Vice President Judy Stone, Secretary/Reporter Mitzie Underwood, Treasurer Cheryl Polk, and Parliamentarian Trish Crawford.
Special recognition was given to this year’s Volunteers of the Year, Terry and Susie Hutchison.
Volunteers receiving Years of Service pins included Judy Kittler and Cindy Willis (1 year); Trish Crawford, Suzanne Crutsinger, Joy Mann, Larry Smith and Kristi Wood (5 years); Judy Robertson and Connie Wilcoxen (15 years); Jerry Hellinger and Betty Morgan (20 years); and Judy Hughes (25 years).
Hour awards included Scarlett Hodgkinson and Jeri Mullins (100 hours); Larry Smith (1,500 hours); Linda Westbury (3,500 hours); Janice Lillard (4,000 hours); Cheryl Polk (5,500 hours); Mitzie Underwood (6,500 hours) and Linda Davis (12,000 hours).
Jeffrey Stevens with the Gainesville Fire Department presented a program on the history of the department, as well as information on fire safety. Lunch was provided by Grandma’s House Bakery.
The NTMC Auxiliary currently includes 47 active volunteers who assist with patient registration, cardiac rehab, office filing and the hospital’s gift shop.
