The NO KINGS Rally is a non-violent resistance to the authoritarian takeover of American democracy by Donald Trump, Elon Musk and their billionaire allies, especially Leonard Leo and the Project 2025 authors, many of whom are now in President Trump’s Cabinet.
In the weeks following Trump’s 2025 inauguration— and the sweeping executive orders that threatened fundamental rights— grassroots organizers across the country took action.
With no budget, no centralized leadership and no institutional backing, a new non-partisan organization, 50501, mobilized hundreds of peaceful protests in all 50 states.
On June 14, for the movement’s fifth National Day of Action, 50501 united with a broad coalition of grassroots organizations to mobilize millions in the largest non-violent day of resistance against the Trump regime to date.
NO KINGS is a National Day of Action and mass mobilization in response to the increasing authoritarian excesses and corruption of the Trump administration.
This includes limiting free speech, detaining people for their political positions, disappearing people off the streets, attacking our civil rights, deporting people without due process and defying the courts.
It also includes slashing public services like health care, veterans services, Social Security, cancer research, education, food stamps, Meals on Wheels and Medicaid— to name a few.
They’re doing all this while serving and enriching themselves and their billionaire allies.
Defying the Constitution and the rule of law is not acceptable. This is what we are protesting - whether you’re outraged by attacks on civil rights, increasing costs, abductions and disappearances, the cutting of essential services, or the assault on free speech. In America, we defend democracy!
NO KINGS is a nationwide day of action and defiance. We’re taking action to reject authoritarianism—and show the world what democracy really looks like.
On June 14, Flag Day, and the 250th anniversary of the Army, Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday.
Since the first day in office, the Trump administration and its enablers are going to extremes to empower Trump and enrich themselves, while cutting jobs and services for the rest of us.
Now, they’re turning Flag Day into a celebration of Trump.
Donald Trump’s birthday celebration is expected to cost millions of our tax dollars, all while Republicans claim there’s no money for Social Security, SNAP or Medicaid.
Our country has been a democracy since its birth. The flag doesn’t belong to Donald Trump. It belongs to the people.
On June 14, we’re showing up everywhere except in DC to say, “No oligarch, no billionaire dictators, NO KINGS.”
This movement is powered by everyday people like the hundreds of people from Grayson County who attend the rallies in Sherman.
We believe in peaceful protest and freedom of speech. We believe in democracy.
