Area students have made a big impression at their respective universities as campuses announce their latest President’s and Dean’s Lists.

At Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU), full-time undergraduate students who have earned a minimum grade-point average of 3.700 and above for the reporting term were named to the President’s List. Full-time status is achieved by earning 12 credits over each 16-week term or paired 8-week terms grouped in fall, winter/spring, and summer. Students named to that list include Whitesboro’s Angie Duke, Pilot Point’s Kyle Kline and Savannah Wiltberger, Gainesville’s Kendra Piggot, and Sherman’s Connie Chapman, Michael Martin, Nancy Padilla, Ami Gannaway and Suzy Daley.

Additionally, several area residents graduated from their respective colleges this month. Whitesboro’s Sarah Crowder and Collinsville’s Kaiya Little graduated from the University of Texas with a Bachelor of Journalism.

Tioga’s Paige Garner graduated from the same school with a Doctor of Jurisprudence. Tioga’s Amanda Parks was among over 600  students who graduated from Bob Jones University
Friday, May 9. Parks graduated Cum Laude with a BS in Biblical Counseling
